Hot on the heels of the newly published Talking Bull Issue 102, comes news of our inclusion in the latest edition of STAND.
STAND is a fanzine that gives the opportunity for like-minded people to take a considered look at the state of the game. It attempts to introduce and investigate alternatives to negative aspects of modern football and to bring together disaffected fans.
The latest edition, issue #15, contains a double page article featuring Hereford Football Club and the rebirth of Talking Bull – The Independent Hereford Supporters’ Magazine.
STAND advocates supporter ownership and firm believers in the work of Supporters Direct. They agree “there may be some flaws, but it’s us, the supporters, not the hedge funds, debt consolidators or oligarchs who were here before they came along, and will remain long after they’ve gone”.
Alongside the feature on Hereford the magazine concentrates on what’s going on in the Premier League for fans particularly in light of the recent and biggest FSF Twenty’s Plenty protests carried out to date.
As with every issue of the STAND fanzine though, their writers are easily distracted and talk of Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and all the others is soon left to one side for tales from Finland, whatever happened to the 1984/85 Bury side, whether Hull City fans actually want their club to get back to the Premier League and a whole host of other interesting stuff.
They’ve reduced their 5-issue season deal to celebrate the new issue coming out. Click here for details.
You can get every issue of Stand digitally for as little as £2.99 via Exact Editions.
