Hereford Football Club launched their first ever official shirt this morning at Edgar Street.
The kit, supplied by Macron, retains the Bulls’ tradition of wearing white shirts with black shorts, and white socks.
Both of the clubs recent sponsors: Jewson and Furniture Importers.co.uk have each secured advertising on the Hereford kit.
Replica kits are likely to be available for sale to supporters within the next fortnight. These will be priced at £34 in children’s sizes (XXXS – S) and £40 for adults (M – XXXL), but season ticket holders will be entitled to a 10% discount.
Hereford FC Commercial Manager Chris Ammonds says today marks another major hurdle ahead of the new season: ‘This is a very exciting day as launching our home shirt makes everything even more real. We are delighted with the look and feel of the shirt we have chosen and hope it will prove very popular with supporters.
‘We will provide an update on when replica shirts will go on sale as soon as we can – we hope it may be as early as a week on Saturday, but, in the meantime, please don’t forget that tickets for the FC United of Manchester pre-season game – which is all ticket for home supporters – are now on sale.
‘Phone sales begin at midday today, while the club will be open as normal from 10am till 4pm tomorrow and 10am till 4pm on Saturday for face-to-face sales at Edgar Street.’
The home shirt is expected to be worn by the players for the first time in an away friendly at Malvern Town on Tuesday, 7 July, before an Edgar Street ‘debut’ on Saturday, 11 July in a match against FC United of Manchester.
It is understood the new black and red striped away shirt will be worn for the friendly at Merthyr Town on Saturday, 18 July.
