Hereford secured a point against Curzon Ashton in the Vanarama National League North this afternoon thanks to a late penalty scored by Tom Owen-Evans.

The Bulls had to play virtually two-thirds of the match with only 10 men after midfielder Ben Pollock was red-carded.

Gowling was quick to praise the players resilience and determination in fighting back to grab a draw – and had little to say about the replacement referee Liam Corbett after the original official Scott Simpson limped off with a muscle injury mid-way through the first half.
