New to the league this season are:
- Highgate United – winners of the MFL Division One last season
- Sporting Khalsa – winners of the West Midlands (Regional) League
- Bardon Hill – winners of the East Midlands Counties League
- Hereford – a new era begins at Edgar Street
- Heanor Town – transferred across from the Northern Counties East League
The teams departing our league are:
- Basford United – last years champions step up to the Evo-Stick NPL
- Heath Hayes – relegated to Division One of the MFL
- Tipton Town – relegated to the West Midlands (Regional) League
- Kirby Muxloe – transferred across to the United Counties League
- Causeway United – folded due to financial issues
The MFL Premier Division is set to begin on Saturday, August 8th.
However, a full fixture list is not expected until the end of July.
