Hereford did not build on two encouraging displays against Farsley Celtic and York City, falling to a 0-2 defeat at the Tameside Stadium this afternoon.

Curzon Ashton  won the match in the first half with a penalty awarded after the ball had allegedly struck the arm of captain Jared Hodgkiss in the box. This was followed up by a well taken goal by the Wigan Athletic loanee Charlie Jolly after hesitation by the Hereford defence – first by Jason Pope and then by Joradn Cullinane-Liburd.

Slade is becoming increasingly concerned by the Bulls lack of firepower and inconsistency in away games.
