The Hereford boss Russell Slade was pleased his side dug deep to pick up a valuable and hard earned point at Blackwell Meadows against Darlington.

The goalless draw was achieved despite being down to ten men from the 27th minute of the match following the sending off of Tommy O’Sullivan after he foolishly picked up two yellow cards.

Slade reflected on this insisting that the dynamics of the game changed following the red-card but praised the whole team for defending excellently. He also picked out goalkeeper Brandon Hall describing his performance as excellent.
